Today, we introduce one of our few collaborating cinematographers, Vic Rose.

Vic is a British cinematographer and photographer who has recently stepped into film with the aid of Joshua Hext, a family background in music lead her to direct music videos and that lead into a love for film and a strong visual style. Her latest music video for brother Mo Evans was shot in Kinross, the place they grew up and where Quotation is being shot which is an exciting prospect for Vic.

I started thinking about the Hobbit, and seeing the second one, and how it will remind me of you, and the avengers, and anything marvel, anything DC, Tolkin, Nabakov, Skyrim, the english language, the word human, lots of other words that slip out and then I burst because I sound like you, the moon, the train from reading to maidenhead to you, baby horses, my cd jumper, most of my music, the stone roses, david bowie, alt J, all of the wonderful things you introduced me to. My confidence was spawned by you, I appreciate my body more because of you, so my being reminds me of you, cats, the internet reminds me of you. Amanda Palmer, New Years, Christmas, you know me inside out, beauty and abstract beauty reminds me of you, every room in my house, my bed, my mirror, university, tumblr, spitting, bees, film, creativity, depression, happiness, sadness, dogs, loneliness,  spelling things properly, your smell is everywhere, and I don’t know whether I should put everything that reminds me of you away or embrace it and smother myself i your scent, that’s what I want to do but I know we have hurt too much. My futon, ties, Brighton, my first flat, my first sexual experience, sloths, my first sexual failure, my first time feeling totally comfortable with someone, my first time telling anyone, my insecurities remind me of you, vinyl, vintage, scars, emotion, the painting in my room, the boots under my bed, The Secret Garden the jumper on my clothes rail, the DVD box sets that were bought for us together, being awkward, blood, you taught me to embrace sadness, you showed me happiness, my first home reminds me of you, pig rush, vodka, gin, vomit, parties, weed, comic books and graphic novels, blue hair, you showed me that moustache beards stopped tickling after a few weeks of growing, the desert plants, blue and yellow, neo punk, nipples, Sally Mann, Art and photography, the art of learning, you inspired me, silence and quiet, raucous laughter, two pairs of sleeping trousers, cum, Elvive shampoo and conditioner, orange, good t shirts, moving trees, old actors, black and white, final fantasy, the tree of life, cloud atlas, Paul Thomas Anderson, Jack White, letting go of inhibitions, spanking, waffles, bacon, specks, wobbly egg, moh, mah, joh, kawai, Japan, Sushi, chopsticks,
